Four former attorneys at the Department of Energy and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission are teaming up to launch a new energy-focused law firm.
Roselle LLP is the brainchild of Biden administration alumni Sam Walsh and Avi Zevin, formerly at DOE, as well as Miles Farmer and Kim Smaczniak, formerly at FERC.
The firm takes its name from Roselle, New Jersey, the very first community in the world to be illuminated by a single electric generator in 1883.
“These are some of the best attorneys I worked with in government and the idea of starting our own practice was really attractive,” said Walsh, who served as general counsel at DOE.
