Anthony Lomangino’s political donations have earned him a spot in the president’s inner circle and, if confirmed, on U.S. Postal Service’s Board of Governors.

President Donald Trump nominated garbage mogul and top GOP donor Anthony Lomangino to serve on the U.S. Postal Service’s board.

Trump has long targeted the Postal Service for its role facilitating mail-in voting fraud, an unsubstantiated claim he has peddled since he lost the 2020 election.

“He knows how to fix a problem, and the Postal Service has many!” Trump said about Lomangino in an April Truth Social post.

Lomangino has earned the nickname “trash kingpin” for his anti-competitive management practices over multiple Florida waste management companies, the largest being Southern Waste Systems and LGL Recycling.
